Savage and Son 125th Anniversary Celebration


When Nevada’s Oldest Contractor with Nevada Contractor’s License #10 turns 125 years old, celebrations are in order. We are honored to have planned the public awareness campaign  and celebration for Savage and Son’s 125th anniversary in business. The campaign started in June with an employee kick-off event and continued on through the summer with a series of television commercials highlighting their plumbing, HVAC and piping work throughout their history in northern Nevada, focusing on some of the iconic buildings Savage and Son has played a role in building. Our campaign also included public relations and social media. Then on Wednesday, September 26, over 500 people attended Savage and Son’s 125th Anniversary Celebration at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Governor Brian Sandoval delivered a heart-warming speech during the program that paid tribute to the business and the five generations of family members that have served our community for the last 125 years. 55th Annual National Championship Air Races


Every September, thousands of aviation enthusiasts gather at Reno-Stead Airport to watch the best pilots from around the globe compete in the world’s fastest motorsport. Six classes of aircraft compete on a closed-pylon course with speeds that reach over 400mph! The Glenn Group works with the Reno Air Racing Association (RARA) to provide creative development, media planning and buying, public relations, social media, on-site public relations support including managing the Media Operations center where nearly 200 journalists come from all over the world to photograph and write about the National Championship Air Races. With over 120 pilots from around the world and over 100,000 attendees annually, we appreciate the opportunity to spread awareness of this event and the economic benefit it brings to our community each year. Each year, the Nevada Women’s Fund hosts the Salute to Women of Achievement Luncheon where nearly 1,200 guests attend the annual event. We are honored to continue to provide creative development and public relations support for this incredible event which helps raise funds for scholarships and grant making for local northern Nevadan women. The Nevada Women’s Fund is dedicated to strengthening our community by empowering women to improve their lives and those of their families.
